Writers Workshop - 6 Week Series

Friday, June 1410:00 AM—12:00 PMLocal History RoomThe Newbury Town Library0 Lunt St. , Byfield, MA, 01922

Meets on Friday mornings from 10am - 12pm,  May. 10 - Jun. 14, 2019

Run by writer and writing teacher, Diane Forman, this workshop will provide an opportunity to discover or further develop your writing voice. Through a series of creative, evocative prompts, you will learn to take pieces of memory and transform them into rich stories. This is not a critique group, but a supportive place to write and share new material that comes most directly from the heart.

REGISTRATION: This is a very popular workshop which usually generates a waiting list. In order to accommodate as many people as possible and to be fair to everyone we have initiated the following guidelines:

  • - Only those who are registered will be admitted to the class. Anyone who shows up at the first class without being registered will not be admitted
  • - It is expected that registered attendees will attend the entire session in order for the entire class to have the best experience. If you are unable to attend a session, please contact the facilitator.
  • - If you have registered and later find that you cannot commit to the entire session please call the facilitator immediately so that your spot can be given to someone on the waiting list.
  • - If you do not attend the first class your spot will automatically be given to someone on the waiting list, unless you have made prior arrangements with the instructor.

Thank you for registering for this excellent free program, sponsored by the Friends of the Newbury Town Library. Register once to register for the entire 6-week series.
