Mindfulness Workshop

The workshop goals are:
- Share the "What, Why, and How" of Mindfulness.
- Practice the mindfulness techniques we learn in a Group Mindfulness Exercise.
- Provide participants with supports and resources to customize a sustainable mindfulness practice at home that best fits their schedule and needs.
Essential oils will be used in this class and participants will be able to take some home to continue their mindfulness practice with.
Instructor is Kathy Dunfee
Bio: Kathy is a Mass Audubon teacher naturalist. She teaches 1st-8th grade nature study at Plumfield Academy (a Charlotte Mason school in Danvers, MA) and also teaches at Our Secret Garden (a nature/literature based pre-school in Newbury, MA.) Kathy holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Emanuel College in Boston with a focus in Curriculum Design. Prior to being at home full time, Kathy worked for Osram Sylvania as a Corporate Training Facilitator in the areas of Leadership, Team Building and Interpersonal Skill Development.
