Our Medicare 101 presentation is designed to provide an overview of the Medicare system for those approaching Medicare, those currently on Medicare as well as those assisting loved ones with their Medicare questions. We will review costs, coverage, important dates, different coverage options within the system, how to avoid penalties and other pitfalls and common mistakes. Importantly, we will include the numerous changes for the upcoming 2025 benefit year. Per Medicarerules this is an educational presentation, and no plan specific information will beshared.
Given the anticipated changes in Medicare this year, this presentation will cover a variety of topics related to Medicare, including:
· 2025 Part D changes due to the Inflation Reduction Act
· Understanding Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D
· Navigating Medicare Advantage Plans
· Carrier and Plan Changes
· Medicare Supplement Plans
· Enrollment and Appeals Processes
Due to the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act and the impact on Part D coverage, this year, more than most, it is imperative that Medicare Beneficiaries understand the changes and how they are impacted so that they can make the appropriate changes to their coverage if necessary, prior to the December deadline.
