Join us for our 2023 Summer Reading Kick-Off! The Newbury Town Library is following the national Summer Reading theme of "Find Your Voice!" Come kick off  the theme with us as we gather on the back lawn for singing, dancing, music and silliness with Rockabye Beats. 

We will be handing out Summer Reading packets at this event. Packets feature Summer Reading resources for kids and caregivers, bookmarks, a museum voucher, and Read and Bead logs. We are so excited for another summer of our popular Read and Bead! You will track your reading in 20-minute increments. There is an easy sheet with stickers to track your progress. When you have completed your sheet, bring it to the NTL and we will trade it for beads. Each bead = 20 minutes of reading. How many necklaces can you make this summer?

**This will be an outdoor event to allow everyone to attend! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, yoga mats, whatever to sit on!**

** If it is bad weather this event will be cancelled**
