The Newbury Council on Aging presents:

Early Alzheimer's, Normal Aging, & the Neuroscience of Brain Health
presented by Dr. Karen Postal

Exercise and a healthy diet have a very strong impact on brain health and memory. Dr. Postal will discuss memory and cognitive changes common in aging, the neuroscience of healthy memory and aging, and how to tell the difference between normal aging and early signs of Alzheimer's disease. 

Dr. Karen Postal is board certified in neuropsychology and pediatric neuropsychology. She is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and a past president of the Massachusetts Psychological Association. She is a clinical instructor at Harvard Medical School where she teaches postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychology. Her research focuses on improving communication about neuroscience with patients and the general public. Dr. Postal has a private practice dedicated to helping people think better in school, at work, and throughout later life.
