Siamak Samiean is an artist currently based in Gloucester, Massachusetts. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration and Painting, and a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. His artwork consists of a variety of methods and mediums, including abstract expressionist and figurative work in oil, charcoal, conté, and watercolor. He is also a Reference Librarian at the Newburyport Public Library, where he has recently launched a monthly Art History Group. His work has been exhibited at the Massachusetts Audubon Society, the Adams House Art Space at Harvard, the Matz Gallery, and Tufts University.
